Desdirata was with me during the late 60's when I served in Vietnam and came back with me in my bloody pocket but still in tack. I realize I am overly passionate, I know I overreact, and, most of all I know I can be a p.ick at times but I am trying to contain myself. Its just when I have been abroad and see some of our fellow Americans behave badly in pubs and intimate public local places, it disturbs me.
I am here to talk golf, play golf, and maybe even teach a little golf.
Please all forgive me for my little outbursts, I am working on some deep seated demons and so far I am winning(most of the time).

I understand this... my example... I was so embarrased to be English when I went to Spain... On the bus ride back from where I spent my week (beautiful village called Calpe) I had a 2 hour stop off in Benidorm... where I was greeted by sunburnt fools in England football shirts and Union flag shorts being generally obnoxious and rude...

But you always get the few that give a bad name to your country... Just have to grit your teeth and bear it.

actaully, the drive was 330 ish, cause it was a little down hill, and the five iron was from 200 out and it was a little uphill

you hit your 5 200, wow. how far do you hit your 9I. the reason i ask is that my avg 9i is 140 but my 5 only goes 175. my drive carries 240yds. do thoose high irons and driver seem a little short for my great 9i distance??? i have used gregs RHD to improve on my distance, my 5 used to be 155 and my 9 130 why can i kill my short irons so far but not my long clubs???
