Re: Extensor Action and left wrist cup
Great discussion Shootin .. tks for helping me out here..
He said he 'felt' like he used the right hand pushing on the left to 'pull' the club back rather than push it back with his left hand. As a 1PS'er trying this myself felt strange but it got the club to similar positions albeit with the right hand led takeaway (hitting motion as you describe) my right wrist felt way more cupped and my left wrist flatter and my left arm extended due to this extensor action idea. When I 'hit' from here with my right hand (feeling I got was like trying to slam the heel of my right hand onto the ball) I was hitting it well. As opposed to the chest led turn back I would use in the 1PS
As with you I found I could absolutely cork the irons with this hitting method but I was hooking the driver/woods
