Whoever said hybrids are easier to hit is wrong in my opinion, at least for me. I cant hit the hybrids or the fairway woods off the ground to save my life. I either top the ball or skip it across the ground with them
Now when I use my 6 or7i i hit them with good loft and about 180 for the 6i and 160is with the 7i. Occasionally I can get the 6 about 190-200.
My question is since i am a new player and bought a set of cheap clubs that DID NOT come with any irons longer than the 6, do you think I would be better able the hit a 3 or 4 Iron better than I can hit the hybrid.
Do people still use those long irons or has everyone gone to the hybrids.
Heres a question i need an answer too. I have a combo 4/5 Hybrid which I either top the ball or skip it across the ground about a 100 or so yards, and I have a 6i that I hit pretty consistent about 170+. why in the world do I hit the 6i better if the hybrids are "supposed" to be easier to hit.
