With all due respect, I disagree about the grip. Fix the grip and you fix 99% of most problems.
I don't think it is that drastic, I have seen people with good grip and were terrible golfers, I have never seen a good golfer that did not have a grip that complemented his setup. Billy casper comes to mind, he played with a really closed stance, it made up for his weak grip and still allowed him to hook the ball. Granted a good grip solves allot of problems, but it must still be matched to a good setup, or fundalmentally sound setup. You can have a good grip and bad ball position and play badly. When I say setup, I include ball position, posture, alignment (shoulders, hips, and feet) and balance.
