Re: Stupid Video Swing Recording!
I've never thought about it that way, Shootin. I have been reading the threads and there is indeed some valuable information, and I guess, without me knowing it, I've been able to perform some of the moves without thinking about it. As for my tennis backstroke, there is no thought about what I do - just where the ball is going - so I definitely get your point.
The ab contraction is one of my main pre-swing thoughts at setup, I'm proud to say I do this on every shot - you are definitely right, it does wonders to my balance. Thanks for that pointer as that's where I got it from in one of your threads that you posted here at GTO.
I'll leave the camera at home for now, do you recommend I get my swing speed recorded? I have an 8.5* driver and a 12* driver. As I mentioned before my swing speed seems to have increased, this just a feeling however, so the change in driver might be in order; currently using the 12* driver.
I found this bit of info useful in making my decision when I was sticking to the traditional golf swing - before MA.

Code:
[B]Driver Swing Speed Recommended Loft[/B] < 70 mph 15-17 degrees 70-80 mph 14-15 degrees 80-90 mph 12-13 degrees 90-100 mph 10.5-12 degrees 100-110 mph 9.5-10.5 degrees > 100 mph 8.5-9.5 degrees
people get too caught up into statistics and positions taht they try to improve on those areas and forget to hit the ball in the hole. Hit your 12, hit your 8.5 see what works best for you and dig your answers out of the dirt. Use mike as a guide but trust yourself to get yourself where you want to go. Not trying to come across rude, just saying that you have the power to find these things out and dont really need to relly on computers, cameras, or other people all that much. Go find yourself a wooden driver and hit that just for fun. Enjoy the game and play the game, dont let the game play you
