I hit my pals 905R a few nights back on the range, along with a Nike SQ. They both had a 9.5, R shafts

Both were loooongggggg ... i was getting 20 yards more out of both of them than with my TM R5 10.5 with Alidla NV R

But no way my wifes gonna sanction another 250 quid driver for a few more months at least !

Just a few quick questions everyone is saying that the r5 and r7 seem to be the best driver but which is actually better? and why?
shuodnt the r7 be better as it is newer yet it costs less.

also finnaly what is the difference between the r7 hi core (£120) and the r7 ht (160) ?

Offset Drivers

Hi,

Does anyone know if the offset drivers (ie. R5 D, Ping, etc.) sacrifice distance?

phil uses the ft3, seems like he likes it enough to have 2 of them(haha i made a funny)

its from a main producer so it is gonna be kick ass, should always try before u buy though, might not like feel of the carbon

i wouldnt think offset would sacrifice distance, especialy if it straightens your slice, it would add considerable distance

With the same cor in driver heads, the difference between clubs comes down to the shaft. The onlything that may differ in heads is the amount of forgiveness. With the exact same shaft at the exact same frequency, two different heads with max cor should produce the exact same distance when hit on the sweet spot (if you can duplicate your swing enough times )

Ive just started playing and i went out and tried tons of diff. drivers (incl. the r7 and new callaway and cobra drivers). for me, i hit the adams redline 430q the most consistent, idk why but thats what i winded up getting with a regular flex shaft. this driver has been very consistent for me at the range where i can hit 30 balls or more perfect, but i still seem to hook when im on the course..i imagine its just mental..anyways you should deff get out and try all of them and dont skip over this one.

Just purchased the titliest 905t and am loving it at the mo. Goes at least 10 yards further than any of the others i tried. except for the taylor made r7. but the titliest is more forgiving

im agree with you...but tm r7 let you choose configuration either fade..draw..neutral.and still also drive a mile away.....

i returned it after playing with it for a week and instead bought a titliest 983k

Where can you go to buy a club and return it after a week of use?
