Re: Basic chipping\pitching technique
Playing yesterday, I was on the SI 1 5th hole and blocked my drive into longish and wet rough.
Somehow smashed it out with a hybrid but was still +/- 5 yards from the green with the hole about the same or a little less on.
Setting up as per my recent lessons but adding the "brush, brush, chip" rehearsal and shot technique off went the little pw; the ball landed on the green and agonizingly slowly over the last couple of feet trundled up to the hole. I swear the damn thing stopped, looked in and thought about it before gravity took over and in it went for the birdie.
If confidence in new techniques is vital for them to work then that sure helped
