One the one hand a good description of how I played yesterday
but also a reasonably serious question.
As I started the back 9, having pushed my tee shot oob, I reloaded with a ball grabbed quickly from my bag and smacked one straight down the middle with a 10-20yd increase in distance over what I'd been getting so far. The 9 iron approach had a great trajectory and shape and did a little hop and skip stopping to leave a Dennis Wise for the birdie - which I missed
Ok, so the Pro V1-x is a good ball. However for someone as inconsistent as me its not a sound economic proposition, this one was a slightly worse for wear "pick up" - a bit like some girls I know - that I lost on the 18th.
The question then is which non-premium price (I'm not really a cheap skate ,honest) comes nearest to v1x characteristics?
