    Re: Broke 90!!!

    Hi Matt,

in your backswing - at the end of it - you let your arms bend and loosen your wrists too. It gives a relaxed feeling, but it might effect your release near impact, too.

Try to make a little larger movement - push your club more away from your body (away from the target) and do not let your club drop down at the end of your backswing. Just test how this would feel?

It might feel like a sweeping feeling with a larger circle?

Thanks Hannu, I will try that.

I tried to shorten the backswing on the newest swing (end of page 5) and it still appears to be too long, like you said, Hannu.

I need to hit some balls though to really test it out. I've been looking for some decent price ranged Hitting Nets and will most likely get one of those (unless there's some other contraption out there to buy).

      thanks again.

Worked on what you were talking about Shootin. Felt better, I hit a couple of pinecones (almost hit my dog with one of them, lol) and they flew reasonably well - granted there's no way to judge my ball striking ability that way.

What I noticed in this video was that my wrist angle was being released alot sooner than I'd like. I wish there was an easier (non-conciou) way of making sure I don't release my power so early.

And on the last swing with the driver, I tried the Cup wrist *RH drill* but that didn't feel comfortable at all. I'm pretty sure it wasn't done as correct as I wanted though.

        Anyway, here's the vid.

hey matt, looks good and on a pretty good plane in the downswing. here are some things I would like to see different
at address add a little, very little, angle between the arms and club shaft, you are about perfectly straight, just went to the other extreme

Your imaginary ball position is too far back, using a mid iron you want the ball closer to your left nipple

right hand grip is not enough in the fingers

when you get hogans book read his chapter on grip again and again and again and again. Trust me it will pay off in the long run
then read what he says about the waggle, this will get the hands and wrists working properly

like I said though, overall it looks pretty good, you must be hitting that pine cone a good 25+ yards
