My game is absolutely terrible at the moment, my swing feels very "army" and I hit loads of high slices that go hardly anywhere which is so frustrating because my natural shot has always been a draw. Today I tried starting the backswing with only my arms not letting my shoulders rotate at all. You can only get so far back doing this so your shoulders have to start rotating at about half way back to let you get anywher near to the top. My contact was so much better doing this although I was in the net so I haven't seen the ball flight yet. Is this what "turning to the top is?" I've always tried to turn from the start and as a result probably end up finishing the swing with my arms. My swing felt more compact and when I looked at my swing in the mirror I saw the flying right elbow I have always had dissapeared! Is this is linked?
