having spent the last 6 months refining my swing , with the aid of this site, i have been experiencing lower back pain , specifically just left of the spine and above the buttock.
having gone to youtube via a link from this site , i found a video clip to do with focus. basically, you focus on the ball , hit the ball , instead of focusing on the target and mearly looking at the ball.
so i decided to try this in the garden, and to my surprise that twinge in my lower back was not there.so i began to wonder why.it would seem that in swinging through to the target the momentum pulls the upper body up and in line with the hips , whereas before i think my hips finished slightly out in front which put undue pressure on my lower back.
i would be interested to know from you guys whether i am on the right track here , as i am yet to try this down the range .
