    hi brian,
i was hitting 2nd shots off the fairways
didnt manage to groove my tempo yesterday

hole 4 is a tricky one, 249 off the yellows ever so slightly down hill, i had 3off the tee yesterday and fluffed my way to a 7
tonight i just made the green with a 3wood 2 putts for a birdie

Ahh, makes you hanker for the good old days of the ase of the journal section, doesn't it? Any news on getting the blog section working, Greg?

Well done Slats. I guess it just underlines how it can't be turned on and off. The shots are clearly there, and you've had some good success in competition this year, as well as some bad experiences. Stick at it, mate ,and the good times are going to roll again soon

Ah but have you ever thought that we could just be trapped in an never ending spiral (like those optical illusions of staircases] of temporary elation and prolonged despair as we continue our doomed quest for the Holy Grail of consistent decent scoring

There again its a bright sunny day and I'm juist leaving for a day out on the course
