I'm a relaive beginner and am interested to know how far people, not just beginners, can hit a well struck iron shot. Say a 7 or 8 iron??

The group ahead said 310 carry 15 rollout. It was a little wet and cold last Friday. That Nemesis is quite a club. I'll probably set one up the one I used was a demo.

(today a friend misshit with hist driver and lofted the ball a whole 125 yards!. I nearly peed myself laughing!, He laughed even harder when his second tee shot went into the OB area..)Comment

I use a 9* SMT Nemesis driver with an extra stiff Penley ETA shaft. The launch angle is probably about 12*. I practice two things constantly. Right arm at a 90* - 90* and turn with my body. I also turn my left arm and practice folding it against my body and make sure it doesn't separate from the body until after the impact area.
