I was turned on to the Mizuno MP30 by a friend in the industry and I can tell you that they are the DADDIES of clubs in my opinion. If you have any other question feel free to ask.

Now I am confused........The flight was "higher" LT stands for lower trajectory. You wanted a more forgiving club than the "Blades" your already use. So you went for the easier to hit iron in the MP30.............!!

We are all different thats for sure.

I've been reading you posts regarding the Taylormade LT irons and I'm planning on buying a new iron set soon.

Therefore I've made a short list which includes the Taylormade LT or OS. I can't figure out what the best choice would be. I've been playing around hcp 16 for about two years now and feel I have to switch to a new set. I've been studying the Taylormade website and can't predict what the differences in off-set and sole width would mean to my game. Off course I will go to the shop and try them out, but I've not found a shop yet who sells both series where I live in The Netherlands. So I figured to ask you first (being the Taylormade specialist in this thread).

      Thanks for advising
      Lester

      Hi Lester,
Ther are a few types of iron for 2005 as you say the OS (oversize) for high H/cappers. HT (high Trajectory) for mid h/cappers and the LT (low trajectory) for the high swing speed lower h/capper.

Check them out on the link at the start of this thread.

For you my advice would be: are you 16 and improving with lessons etc then try the LT, if you are steady at 16 and just enjoying the weekly knock then try the HT. The choice is yours but make sure you have them fitted.

      Good Luck

      Ian.

P.S try the Callaways too a great club.

        Re: Taylormade RAC LT 2s

        Ian,

My main goal to switch clubs were to try to find something moreforgiving for a lower handicapper. I have always had a mid to high flight but it seemed to hit the ball higher for me. I quickly figured out that I should play with a club before buying and not taking what feels good inside of a store.

As far as the Mizuno's go, I wanted something new with more forgiveness and a friend suggested the MP30s. My whole life I have loved TM products and this time it just did not suit me. I just wanted you to try them on course before putting all of that money on something you might not like any better than what you had.
        Sorry for the confusion.

          Thanks Eddie,

Like me you also find blades very unforgiving, I tried the TM combos first but the vibration up the shaft would have rattled my teeth loose.

Coming from blades to MP30 must be heaven.

          No worries

          Ian.

The MP30s are the real deal. I really like the MP23 that they have out. Check into it before buying
