That's amazing running for 3 years without wearing out a pair of shoes, golf shoes none the less. I'm glad you could quit running long enough to post us on these awesome shoes.

I wear White Nike SP-5's. I find them very comfortable as I have a narrow foot, and they fit very snug.

They have leather uppers and Fit-foam technology for a very comfy fit as well as lightweight. Bought mine on sale at The Sports Authority in Gainesville,FL.

I have 2 pairs of Foot Joy Classics and one pair of DryJoys® w/P.R.O.™ Technology. The Foot Joy Classics are rather heavy so I purchased the Dry Joys this year and love them. These shoes are very comfortable and much lighter than the Classics. The Classics will be used for practice only.

I have an ugly pair of black Footjoys. I put 2 sets of sockliners in them and they are very comfy even over 18 holes.

2 practical things. Some running shoe styles are not waterproof, so don't go golfing in the morning! I find pointy-toed shoes are great help lining up your feet in your stance.

all about the footjoy aqualites cheap and cheerful but ridiculously comfy. if people are looking not to spend tigers carear earnings on a pair of shoes then stuburt shoes are meant to be really good.

Re: Golf shoes - what do you wear?

My feet tend to hurt after any distance of walking and I have fairly high arches, can anyone recommend a good pair of comfortable golf shoes for under $70?

I wear Foot Joys. They are saddle style with very soft leather uppers. I have problem feet and these were very comfortable from day 1.

Just bought a pair of Footjoy Myjoys. Expensive (after some shopping about got mine for £120) but you get to pick your own colours/logos and you can also pick an individual size for each foot. Only problem is you can't just walk into a shop and pick them up. And at the end of the day they are exactly the same as Footjoy Dryjoys.

My brother has the Adidas 360's which he says are fantastic. You can also get them in a range of colours now - see http://www.funkygolfgear.com

Ive been wearing Nike for years. Saddles first, got a couple blisters on my heels though. just got some sp-3, very much like an athletic shoe and very comfy!!! They seem to run about a half size small so try on different sizes until you are fit well. hope this helps

I wear a turf shoe. By turf, I mean these "tennis" shoes have 5/16" rubber nubs all over the bottom of the shoe. No slippage, and quite comfortable. I do have a pair of Foot Joys, but the turf shoe is much cooler, and easier on my feet when walking the course. GJS

I have a pair of Nike Maxair, they look like tennis shoes and are very comfortable. However I want a pair of Adidas Tour 360s, I like adidas as a shoe better than nikes. Good luck on your search

Can any one help me find a golf shoe that remains waterproof after the warranty expires?!!!

I had a pair of Greenjoys but, they started to leak after 6 months. I returned them and decided to spend the extra £ on a pair of Dryjoys. That was in Nov 2007. Lo and behold, they are now starting to leak. They're very comfortable but, with all the rain we've had in the UK recently, they have failed to make it to the expiry of the manufacturers warranty. Another replacement pair of Footjoys is necessary.

Is there a reliable make out there which does withstand wet conditions for more than a few months?
