I'm an average golfer, right handed, handicap around +18, and I have a question about my grip and positioning.
I have large hands, and when I grip the club with my left hand (keeping mindful of holding the club in the balls of my fingers), the only way I can get the "V" to point to my right ear is if I cup my wrist.
Is is "correct" to have a cupped left wrist address, provided that the "V" is pointing at my right ear?
Or, is it correct to have a straight left arm and wrist at address? This way actually feels more correct, but you know the saying, if it feels right, it's probably wrong.
I looked at the Lessons page on "GRIP" and noticed that picture shows a left wrist that appears to be very cupped. Is one expected to maintain that position through impact?
Any assistance you can provide is much appreciated.
