A bitterly cold day yesterday saw me record a new PB but only by the skin of my teeth as I collapsed towards the end of the round.
The 1st is a short Par 4 of about 320 yards but with a narrow fairway, trouble on the left and OOB all the way down the right. A sensible and safe tee shot...03-06-2008, 07:57 AM -
Yesterday was one of those amazing English days when at the beginning of February you get a sudden preview of the Spring to come. Especially by mid afternoon when the early strong wind had died down it was a lovely day for golf; with luck it was also a preview of my golf for the coming season.

First round for a while and probably the last for the year.
The round was much as I expected, a bit like the curates egg - good in parts.
I'd only played this course 3 times before and had never broken 100 on it, so was pleased with 92 gross, 34 points, 12 holes bogey or...11-26-2007, 08:27 AM
