Last Saturday I had a day out with my Golf Society and played at a course in Herefordshire that was new to me. Early start, bacon roll and coffee then out on the course. I was drawn in the first 3 ball so no hanging around.

A Bogey comp is where you play matchplay with handicap against the course par. You play each hole out and either win it if less than par, half it if par or loose it if over par.
