this is the first part of the swing and once you can do this you are well on your way to hitting good full shots as well.
set up
Start out doing this with the ball in a fluffy lie, ball CENTERED in your stance and weight favoring front foot, about 60%. Have VERY LITTLE angle between front arm and club shaft, close to a straight line.
From there JUST CUP the right wrist back, no conscious body movemnet in the back swing
now just turn the body back towards the target starting with the hips first, while keeping hands and arms QUIET
that is all there is to chpping, no need to make it more complicated.
if you have a hard time quieting the arms, just use a belt around your body and elbows and repeat the procedure
